Sunday
I made blueberry pancakes for breakfast. We ate them with bananas and too much maple syrup. So far they’ve been the highlight of a rather unexceptional and lazy Sunday. But tonight I’m watching Anna Karenina. So the question is- will it be better than blueberry pancakes?

First day back at work and the house is horribly quiet. I had planned to be full of energy and enthusiasm today. But, I’m not. Maybe tomorrow? # The Christmas lights found a new home above our bed.
Owl
Minimalism does not appear to be in my nature. I decided to replace this wooden spoon, but instead of just throwing it away I found myself drawing an owl face on it (no doubt inspired by this). So, now I have two spoons. Only one of which serves any useful purpose…
