A lovely brand new patchwork shop called ‘The Wandering Line’ has just opened in Purley, Surrey. And, it’s owner Debbie has asked me to teach her JOURNEY course! As there’s no point re-inventing the wheel, I’ve ’borrowed’ Debbie’s course description: “Do you want to develop your creativity? Learn new techniques? And improve your existing skills? Do you want to gain [...]
For Christmas last year, everyone in the family who had a nose and a sense of humour got one of these. And this year everyone in the family who washes (i.e. everyone except my boys!) will be getting one of these flannels and a bar of homemade (but not in my home) soap. So, that’s [...]

Now, this is completely unrelated, but Sew Mama Sew have started their handmade holidays and have very kindly included my blue sky thinker tutorial. I guess [...]
Warning! Shameless self promotion to follow. My butterfly quilt for Sew Hip made the front cover! There is also a nice little feature on my studio inside the magazine. Rush out and buy your copy today. You want Issue 11. P.S. Tif’s in there too and so’s Amanda.
I seem to be on a roll with finding vintage jumpers at the moment. My latest thrifty find is a hand knitted Aran cardigan. It’s a little big for me and Tony hates it. But tough I’m wearing it anyway! Once I’ve changed the buttons that is. Because when I wear [...]
