today
fleeting beauty right by the washing machine I had a lovely time sewing and watching this programme about Robbie Burns with one of my favourite singers Eddi Reader. I’ve seen her live and her voice gives you goosebumps. Beautiful. More beauty can be found in this little Irish film found through Toast. beauty is within […]
book
I bought this book at the school Christmas fair purely because I liked the title, ‘A Cupboard Full of Coats’ by Yvette Edwards. And I’m so glad I did. Wonderful.
‘Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable’ Mary Oliver
A Field Guide
here’s the paper moodboard for my third book. I’ve had the idea (the hard bit). I’ve made the Pinterest moodboard (the easy bit). I’ve bought the fabric (the best bit?) and now I just have to make it all happen. The late nights start now.

tulips
Tony came home with tulips. How romantic I thought. And then he said ‘I only got them because they were reduced to 60p’ thanks love.
