My Dad

my koalaMy Dad has been fascinated in my blog since I started it.

He checks to see if I have posted every morning (and moans at me on the phone when I haven’t) and has read every single comment you leave me.

What can I say he’s great- a truly supportive Dad.

And now he has gone and gotten himself a blog!

When you visit his blog you will see caricatures, watercolours, sketches, photography, flute playing and astronomy…

Oh yes, for Dad can’t bear to be idle for long either!

My Dad knitted this koala bear for me when I was a baby.

As you can see it is now rather faded, moth eaten, darned and patched.

Hen and koalaBut it has been well loved and that, after all, is the whole point of it.

And as you can see, Koala is still very important around here.

So, please go and see what else Dad has been up to.

You’ll make his day, and probably mine too.

Hee hee – my Dad is the same with the checking for posts and reading comments and ‘Why haven’t you blogged?’ questions. But I can’t convince him to get his own. And he couldn’t knit an amazing Koala either.

I’m off to pay your Dad a little visit…
