Indulgent weekend
This is a little applique picture I finished a while ago.
I’m still working on the bird theme. But I’m nearly done with it.
I’ve been drawn to coastal images all week.
Although that maybe because Tony and I have got a childfree weekend at the seaside! Hooray!
I have booked a rather posh hotel and we are going to have lie-ins and eat good food cooked by someone else and we are going to have uninterrupted conversations.
The boys are very kindly being looked after by my parents.
Well, when I say ‘looked after’ I actually mean completely indulged.
And that’s basically my plan for the weekend too.
Complete indulgence. Can’t wait!

We certainly do have a fun packed weekend in store for your boys. Plenty of ‘e’s to keep them going!
Have a nice weekend Janet.

Have a ball Janet – I went to junior school in Folkestone (it’s not there any more, but is just round the corner from where you are going on Shornecliffe Road).
But I can’t tell you much about Folkestone because it was aeons ago and it was boarding school and we weren’t allowed out much!
