Cub camp
Henry has just returned all filthy, starving and exhausted from his first ever Cub camp. All his kit came home damp and muddy, which means he had the best time ever!
We received this delightful postcard whilst he was away:
Dear Mum and Dad, On cub camp we did rifle shooting I hit the bulls eye. I was amazed I was like oh that was epic. I had so much fun. I had the best day ever that day. This card is to Betty (that’s the dog- no mention of his big brother you’ll notice!) as well you know! We did climbing we had to climb up a 10 metre climbing wall that is as high as Tom Daley’s dives! I am having lots of fun at camp. I sleep in a bed with Josh. We went to the tuck shop. I bought a whoopy cushion. I will buy something for you and Dad. From Henry x0x

Splendid! He sounds like he had a huge amount of fun. Small boys are meant to be grubby, aren’t they?

Ah bless him! Thay have the best time with the scouting movement! My 15year old is in Scotland at the mo and will come home wet and muddy too (oh and smelly:S)

How lovely…mine goes to Air Cadet camp on Friday. Will need an industrial sized washing machine afterwards!
