Patchwork Pig
It is half term here.
And I have achieved nothing for 3 days except to get my 2 boys safely through the day and back in their beds in one piece.
Well, that’s what it feels like anyway.
So, this is an old (pre blog) project held in reserve for just such an occasion.
I have nothing much to say about it, except:
It’s stuffed but still flat.
And I had fun making his tail.

wonderful piggy janet. i’ve been making shaped cushions from old quilt pieces – fish and birds and hearts – love giving this precious fabric new life…

I’m so with you on the challenge that is half-term! Getting up to going back to bed again can be such a long time can’t it. Our littlest man is usually up around 5 and even in the sunshine it can feel like hard work to fill the day. In years to come though they’ll remember what fabulous holidays they had with you – well, that’s what I keep telling myself at least!
Lovely pig btw.

It’s beautiful. The soft colours and the shape of a pig go together so well. Making more complicated shapes is a bit beyond me, this is how I would have done it as well
