poorly

Betty has kennel cough and has been feeling quite sorry for herself.

I’m making her warm honey and lemon and sitting up with her at night, when the cough is at it’s worst. Much the same as I would for the boys in fact- although I haven’t held her head over a bowl of steaming water yet!

So, we’re confined to barracks for a few weeks and I don’t know who’ll miss our walks more- me or her.

    Poor Betty. Kennel Cough is miserable
    I have collie who has been spayed – also miserable. She is enjoying porridge with banana and honey!

    I had my hound on antibiotics for a cough/sore throat. He took them like a trouper, and he is so much happier now. Hope your pup is better soon!

    I lost a puppy to that, I sure hope she feels better. I hear that high doses of vitamin C were good for that, not sure if that is the same now, this was years ago. My guy is sick too, he has kidney failure so he is on lots of meds and for now he is happy and feeling better, so we do the best we can and just love them.

    It was so lovely to see you on tuesday. I LOVE your book, it has already promoted family discussions of the shipping forecast! Thank you also for the parma violets, so sweet of you and as no-one else in my family likes them i am enjoying and savouring each one.

    Poor Betty- sorry she is poorly. It is awful because they can’t understand what is wrong with them. hope she is soon better.
    I love your book and the seagulls quilt is beautiful- i had a chuckle about the rules being broken- you rebel you:)
