Today
Today, I finished my socks.
Kitchener stitch and I don’t get along. But as you can see my sock knitting has improved enormously. Thankyou, Knitty.com.
And as of today, my work is available to buy at Blueberry Park and White Doll Arts.
Go and take a look- my teacosies and patches are in amazing company. Thankyou, Karen and Emma.
And to think that these business opportunities and new found skills have all been achieved from my dusty dining room on a hand-me-down laptop.
Extraordinary.
Where will the mighty, all powerful, time eating internet lead me next I wonder?

On to even greater things I’ll bet! Hey you got all your stripes lined up – very impressive!

Thanks Ali!
I can, however, take no credit for the stripe alignment- I used self striping yarn and merely started a new ball for each sock.

it’s just the beginning my dear friend…how very exciting to see your work for sale on other sites…i am totally ‘made up’ for you 🙂
oh and the socks. “WOW” is all i can say, to knit one sock is an achievement but to finish the pair is a small ‘knitted miracle’…you should be proud

Congratulations,
How exciting! Are they shops nearby to you, so that you can drop in and watch people look at your work in person, (or perhaps I am the only one who would consider staking out a shop for feedback)?

“the mighty, all powerful, time eating internet”
HA! That is spot on.
I hope it leads you to wonderful living every single day.

I am so glad those shops have taken your lovely patches and tea cosies!

I am not above staking out a shop for feedback, Claire! However, Blueberry park is completely virtual and White Doll Arts is in Cornwall, 4 hours away…so I can’t!
