the boiler ate my morning
I drew a rabbit and fawn whilst the boiler was being serviced.
The boiler man turned up an hour and a half late.
And I know it’s daft but
I couldn’t really settle until he came
and then I couldn’t really do anything
because he was here…

Adorable…and certainly a very good use of boiler service time.

Days like that are frustrating – but you have some critters to compensate and I love them!

Why are boiler men always late??! Lovely fawn and bunny looking foward to seeing them stitched or quilted some time in the future?

I am exactly the same; don’t want to start anything until they show up, and then spend the whole time feeling “trapped” while they are here! I don’t like making small talk with them, either. The last one was so proud that he had identified my furniture as teak, and then proceeded to tell me how much it was worth!
