the moon
moon cycle, created with linen, bleach and seed stitches
My Dad’s got a new telescope and we’re inheriting his old one. I haven’t told the boys yet as it’ll be a while before we get to Kent to pick it up. Waiting is hard when you’re 8.
I’ve been preparing myself for my new hobby by watching Stargazing Live with a glass of red wine and a bag of crisps. And playing with my fabric and bleach, of course.
I think I’m going to like it.

yup, its fab, to show the rings of jupiter to someone is great. Start knitting scraves and hats! I cam across some bits and pieces and I have an jolly cartoon style maritime ABC. Its just a large postcard but i wondered if you would like it, then remember it was the last book that was maritime. Anyway, i could pop it in the post for you if you like.

Don’t worry Janet, you won’t have to wait too long!
I like your phases of the moon. They would make a great pattern for a bag to carry my new scope in!!
