Corduroy Mansions
Did any of you enjoy Mme Ramotswe and her ‘Ladies Detective Agency’?
Well, her creator Alexander McCall Smith is currently writing an online novel called ‘Corduroy Mansions’ and the Telegraph are serialising it.
You can listen to Smith himself reading one chapter every week day- and he has a nice voice actually.
It started yesterday and I am enjoying it so far.
Just thought I’d let you know!

oooh! thanks so much for letting me know! I love Mme Ramotswe, and the serialised Edinburgh stories – and I went along to hear McCall Smith speak a couple of years ago – he was utterly delightful so I cannot wait to hear this. Lovely!
