doorstep 1
I’ve started collecting the sky. From my doorstep, in my slippers.
The sky is astonishingly different every day. It’s a shame I’ve only just noticed.
On a completely different note:
:: I’ve decided that the end of Google reader is in fact a wonderful opportunity for a fresh start. So, I’m not saving and transferring my blog list. I’m simply going to join a new reader (haven’t decided which one yet) and start from scratch. I figure I’ll remember my favourite blogs easily and those I don’t (whisper this a bit guiltily) maybe don’t need remembering?
And I’ll have more time to collect the sky.

I love your sky. I enjoy standing on the deck on clear nights (in my slippers, of course) and watching the stars.
And I love your idea of a clean sweep. I’ve been slowly removing the odd blog here or there where I’ve found that either I or the author has moved on a little. This would be a less guilt inducing way of reducing the list a little.

I’ve enjoyed photographing the same thing, though I think of it as cloudcollecting.
And using no reader at all had also crossed my mind. Something about clearing the clutter and having a fresh start.

Those colours are so subtle and lovely. I’ll probably do the same re. blogs, and will hunt out some new ones too.
