Time

Early morning light reflecting in my porch: a few moments later it had gone

Thanks so much for all your kind words about dear old Jessie, they have truly helped and are very much appreciated.

It’s half term here and our boys are waiting to be entertained. Rather like Paddington, they aren’t that good when at a loose end.

So, Monday found us all on the train to London to meet my parents at Trafalgar Square. And from there we went round the corner to the National Portrait Gallery to see the Annie Liebovitz exhibition, which was simply amazing.

You can visit my Dad for more photos of our day out in London; this is particularly fortunate because I didn’t really take any!

You can also see the bittersweet drawings about Jessie that the boys did for them.

I had a few people asking about the things I have been working on that I can’t show yet, so just for them here is a list:

jointed applique dinosaur blanket for issue #2 ‘Sew Hip’, Christmas table runner for ‘Fabrications‘ magazine, cushions for issue #3 ‘Sew Hip’, a (very not finished) butterfly quilt for ‘France Patchwork’, embroidery project (waiting for final confirmation on this one) for ‘Creative Machine Embroidery’ magazine (US) and an exclusive embroidery pattern for my ‘soon to be here’ email club (more on that later).

Told you I’d been busy! And not sleeping much…

Indeed you have been busy. But that sounds like very exciting projects.
