A sparrow and a poem

I’ve just found a little game to play this week. Want to join in too?

First I read this by Domesticali, who sent me to see a Simple Sparrow and now I have to show you todays poem:

Joe’s pride and joy- his lava lamp. 50p well spent at the car boot sale.

We keep it in the kitchen because Joe rarely plays in his bedroom.

He much prefers to scatter himself all round the house and then complain bitterly when asked to tidy it all up at the end of each and every day!

And so there it sits greenly glowing and blobbing away next to my very traditionally pretty cake stand with the souvenir seagull Henry stuck on top of it.

I think these kitchen poems might actually be quite revealing…
