Gloves?

Wrist warmers? Arm cosies?

What do you call them exactly?

Anyway, my orange things are finished!

The free pattern can be found here and

they are a quick, easy-ish knit (decreasing every 6 rows, thumb gusset, K2 P2 rib and a 10 row cable repeat).

I wish I had had enough yarn to make them slightly longer over my fingers, but never mind.

Although, in actual fact I did have enough yarn to make them longer over my fingers but as you knit from the elbow down I’d already used it up! You may want to bear that in mind if you knit some.

I like wearing them with the spotty jacket Tony gave me for Christmas.

Pronk.

Although, I think I may be over doing the ‘pronking’ as yesterday someone asked me if I was going to a job interview.

Clearly, she found my skirt, boots (with a modest heel) and spotty jacket combination all too much for the school run.

I found that quite depressing actually.

oh! I am im love with ‘pronk’ – the clothes, colours and philosophy. We who do not have a work uniform or office clothes should take every opportunity to pronk 🙂

Cheeky woman. Pronk on I say. Love the glovey things. I’ve never done a cable. Perhaps it’s time.

that happened to me too! Are you going somewhere?

No!!! does it mean I look too nice for school… or that normally I look really bad?

My mom made me gloves like thesed but not as long and I love them. I can still change my ipod and phone without taking gloves off. I forwarded my mom this pattern because I kind of like these better.
