Elevenses
Guess who came for elevenses today?
The Dottie Angel and her best friend Debbie!
So, yesterday I made my ‘signature’ sticky ginger cake.
Only to find out far too late that Tif really, really doesn’t like it.
No problem says I.
I’ll make you an English cream tea instead.
Which I did. Sadly the scones were inedible…
So Tif had to make do with a bar of chocolate I found at the back of the cupboard, whilst watching Debbie and I tuck into enormous slabs of sticky cake.
You know you have a friend when on your first meeting, you turn ‘elevenses’ (with cake you don’t even like) into three hours of non- stop chat.
Kindred spirits in all but cake.
