Cheerio

Well, half term is behind us,

the boys are safely back to school

and I have only one thought in my head:

I’m going to New York!

So, I shall say ‘cheerio’ and see you when I get back.

But not before I show you the latest addition to my dog collection; a birthday present from my friend Lucy.

I think he’s great.

But, I wonder what my 18 year old self would have thought about getting a second hand china dog for my 40th birthday…

    If your 18 yo self could talk to your 40 yo self she probably wouldn’t even register the secondhand china dog because NEW YORK BABY!!!!!!!

    Happy Birthday! At 18, I couldn’t even imagine 40 and now… here it is, and it doesn’t feel as weird as I thought it would. 🙂 And have a wonderful trip to New York!

    have a lovely trip stateside… and just for the record, i can’t go into a thrift store these days without checking the ‘figurine’ aisle just incase a ‘doggie’ with your name on is lurking there 🙂

    have a wonderful trip…funny i still feel mostly the same in my head as at 18 and i look in the mirror and i am 50..where have the years gone…just can never believe they have passed so fast…the mirror assures me they have though lol .but i would still love that dog for a pressy…it is beautiful…
