Still raining…
so, no picnic rug pictures today either.
Instead I have a recent late night Etsy purchase to show you:
this wonderfully atmospheric oil painting by Irish artist Edyta Fleszar.
I loved the way she captured the sunset glowing on the roof of the barn.
My photo doesn’t do it justice.
It really is delightful.
About the only good thing to come out of the rain is the rainbow I saw in Tesco’s carpark.
I stood and stared and smiled at it for a while, getting wet, but I didn’t care.
I was surrounded by people.
But, I was the only one looking.
Lots and lots of sours about.

that happened to me. I stopped and looked, I was with the boys and we were all looking up smiling… and a passer by actually murmured ‘it’s only a rainbow there’s no need to block the pavement’.
Oh yes there is!

Very Lovely painting. Does it always rain in July?
And I try to make it a Lenten practice all year to stay off Ebay but I fall often!
