No ordinary bird
Neil Diamond and I are in agreement: Jonathan Livingston Seagull is certainly no ordinary bird.
His little story inspired this applique pattern which is only available to the members of my email club. So, if you would like a copy of this pattern (and another exclusive design in a couple of months) then join the club by emailing me:
I hope you like him and look forward to hearing from you!

that is gorgeous thank you! (I love the book too… must have read it ten times during my very ‘deep’ teen years…)
(have you ever read the one called Jonathan Livingston pidgeon of Trafalgar Square about a pigeon who prefers taking the tube?… seriously I’m not making it up!!)

I think the seagull is wonderful. I read the book years ago and for about nine months I thought If I really believed, then I could fly. Shades of Tinkerbell. It didn’t work, but I did really believe.
Your table mat is delightful as ever. I just can’t embroider to save my life and that is why I like to look at your abilities.
