Heaven is High and Earth Wide
This is the quilt I was supposed to have finished the other day (but got my feet done instead!) You didn’t honestly think I meant Henrys’ quilt did you?
I was looking for an interesting horse poem and eventually found this line, which I thought was just lovely.
The quilt group I belong to are doing a challenge with a French patchwork group. We are all using the same two fabrics and the quilts are to be the same size. But, apart from that anything goes! The finished quilts will be exhibited here and in France.
The inspiration came from an antique rag rug (sorry, couldn’t find it again – I must start writing down these things!) The Shire horse is a piece of tweed and is buttonholed in a variegated thread.
