Laundry
For ages, I’ve been looking for a laundry basket
big enough to hold our washing but at the same time
small enough to fit in our bathroom.
And had basically given up hope of ever finding one.
But then Martha Stewart came to the rescue.
Another small victory for home sewing and thriftiness!

What a clever idea. The bag looks to be a pillowcase. When ready, undo the hoop, bring in another pillow case, and you are ready to wash. That is a neat idea.

I LOVE it and I LOVE Martha too. I used to teevo all her shows when I lived in New York and spend hours watching them at the weekends :o)

That is soooo lovely!
(with the amount of laundry my boys produce… I’d have to use a hula hoop!!)

OMG!! I think I’m in love! That looks like Just The Thing that we need in this house. The boys drive me nuts with the amount of laundry they casually leave around the bathroom. (I’ll just add it to the long list of things to be made….)

What a brilliant idea… how does the embroidery hoop cope with ‘weight’? I’ll have to try it and see. I don’t know what I’m worrying about my son can never seem to manage to get clothes into a laundry basket…. the floor is just too handy (!)
