Sunday night
The clocks went back late Saturday night,
making my boys’ usual 6am start a 5am start… so, by 6pm (7pm) Sunday night they were, how shall I say it politely?
er… over tired…
Having exhausted everything else I could think of (and about to go round the bend),
I threw them in the garden with their head torches and a notebook and told them to look for bats.
And for 20 whole minutes they did!

mine are not allowed out of their beds before 7.00am. And given we changed the clocks when they’were asleep… we had a lie in till 8.00am effecively.
