I seem to be on a roll with finding vintage jumpers at the moment.
My latest thrifty find is a hand knitted Aran cardigan.
It’s a little big for me and Tony hates it.
But tough I’m wearing it anyway!
Once I’ve changed the buttons that is.
Because when I wear it
I’ll look almost exactly like this.
Obviously.

Lucky you.. I would have it in a flash… fashion scrapbook…beware sounds a bit Desparate Housewives but actaully a very good idea and I may just pinch it!
You’ll be right out of the Toast catalogue. My fashion zone is the ‘scrap’ end of scrapbook at the moment. It’s depressing, but I can’t seem to climb out of the rut I am in, clothing wise.
It is so wonderful. I would wear it anyway as well. You could always wear a sweater underneath to take up a little room. But just say, “People are wearing their clothes a little big this year”. Wow, how do you find these things?
I can see it already… very autumnal!
You’ll be toasty and warm this winter. It looks wonderful.
just what is needed – its cold today – by the way love your quilt in sew hip – i can now say i’ve met someone famous!!
xx
Great find and like the idea of updating the buttons.
I love thrifts, you never know what you will find.
