Let work wait
I got back from the school run this morning, took one look at my ‘to do’ list
and decided most of it would just have to wait
and made a cake instead.
So, I baked
whilst listening to Julia Donaldson’s (the fabulous Gruffalo author) Desert island discs.
It was a good decision.
The English paper pieced cushion came home with me from the charity shop the other day.

i don’t blame you -sometimes lists just have to wait – they are only a reminder after all!

Isn’t it remarkable how cake is what most people seem to make (or rather bake) when they don’t want to tackle the to-do-list ? I’m a candidate for that as well. We should all make a recipe book for the best escape-cakes.
