New clothes
I went shopping with my friend Lucy the other day
and she talked me into buying this blouse
which is not my usual style.
But I do really like it.
Although, having seen it on the models I think I may need to tie my bow differently.
I’ve just had a huge clear out of my wardrobe and have only kept things that make me feel good. I’ve got surprisingly little left.
But, that’s alright as I’ve found a solution Ginny (ex theatre costume designer) is teaching me pattern cutting and dressmaking! And, boy! Do I have a lot to learn.

It is always fun to get new things to wear. I can never find things that are comfortable, in my size or the right color, lol. So, I need to teach myself pattern making too. I am going to take my favorite old clothing and make patterns from them.

Janet, it looks great! I hope Tony liked it! Mabel loved her spotty dress, but has already got bolagnaise down it! Thankyou for a lovely day!
