Colander
This vintage colander
planted with little Alpines
is just about all the gardening I’ve achieved recently.
And when I say ‘gardening’ I really mean
tipping the un-drunk water from our dinner glasses on it before we come in for the evening.
P.S. I’m just home from teaching at The Fat Quarters near Newcastle- thanks for a lovely weekend!
P.P.S. Still waiting for the plumber- so far we’ve had 3 here to give us a quote and still nothing…

what a lovely planter. Sorry, I was meant to e-mail you to say thanks to you and Joe for Ethan’s recent post – he was sooooo excited! He put the compass straight on his school bag, said ‘waaaooohh!’ to the museum postcard and wants a museum like that here and the bullet, well he loves that and now it is in a special box next to his bed with a couple of other bullets. Thanks so so much. x

Oh, the FQ, that’s where I want to go on my next few days off, BlackHall Mill is quite near to us and I’ve always wanted to go to the shop! I didn’t know they ran classes, will keep that in mind thanks!
