Binding
Today, some 12 years after making
my first patchwork quilt I have finally learnt
how to make a continuous binding.
It wasn’t difficult
didn’t take long
and looks great.
Better late than never.

Well done! I so pleased when I got the hang of it too. It does make such a difference – I look at my older quilts and (almost) want to redo the bindings! xx

well you’ve surely done a beautiful job! this sounds like me … too hard, too long, too fiddly, don’t know how … oh look! I can do this and now it’s done! But you haven’t shown us the whole quilt!

Beautiful quilt colours! I’ve only ever done continuous binding (I was taught by my mother-in-law, and well, that’s just the way you do it!)

Oh Janet, just love the fabrics you used. Great job looks ever so neat and precise.
Funny how we put off jobs thinking they are going to be tiresome and fiddly and then presto all sorted no worries.

Your binding looks wonderful…so nice and neat! Nothing like a freshly finished quilt. 🙂
