Asta
I’ve been knitting constantly the last few weeks
and have the messy house and the sore hands to prove it.
But, I also have a lovely, well- fitting cardigan
it’s a free Rowan pattern, Asta and as you can see, mine looks completely different from theirs.
I haven’t decided if I’m a ribbon person yet
(and if you didn’t follow the link, you now have no idea what I’m talking about).
At the moment I’ve got a safety pin
which won’t do at all…

Very impressive! The color is terrific. And because you are an artist, you are entitled to change things. Just wait, and the right closure will come to you.
I have an Aran Island man’s cardigan that my aunt gave to me. It has a shawl collar. When the wind blows, I get cold. I wanted a button hole but that would ruin the sweater, so I use a stitch holder. Not pretty but effective. I know that you will come up with something better!
Really nice sweater and you can always clean house.
