New skirt
Spring must be in the air
because I have more energy
and a new homemade skirt
a very simple knee length a-line skirt
but then I took the opportunity to add dotty facings and a stripey lining
just because I could.
I bought the fabric from ‘The Eternal Maker’, it’s ‘ornament’ by Etsuko Furuya for Echino.
And I’ve had it since August- so my skirt only took me seven months and two evenings to make.
Isn’t that always the way? Just think what we could make if we always had the energy!

It’s beautiful…I love personalized touches, like the lining. It’s the best part of making, because you know there would never be anything like it in a shop!
