Alphabetti Spaghetti!
On Saturday I saw these quotes in a restaurant –
Sophia Loren said “Everything you see I owe to spaghetti”
and Christopher Morley (?) said ” No man is lonely eating spaghetti, it requires so much attention”.
Anyway, they got me thinking about spaghetti … and I’ve remembered a game I haven’t played for years.
You will need: a referee, children, 2 bowls of Alphabetti Spaghetti and a list of words.
First be prepared for MESS!
Now, give each child/ team a bowl of alphabetti spaghetti and call out a word they have to spell. The first child/team to manage wins!
And as a bonus lunch is already on the table! (groan) As you can see Joe did spend a lot of time licking his fingers and eating ‘words’!

I want to play! Sadly neither of my kids will touch the stuff… but mummy it’s got pom-ato. Pehaps it’ll be me versus hubs, and I am a MUCH better speller than him!

Very fun idea! My kids would love this, but I’d have to be in the right mood . . . cause it would be real messy at our place!!
