I came 4th !!
We love to celebrate in this family – Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Shrove Tuesday, Mother’s Day… it seems that every couple of weeks there is an excuse/reason to get creating and make lovely food! So, we obviously ‘do’ Easter and here are this years’ culinary delights!
The boys (2 and 5) had great fun making these birds nests – they’re from ‘How to be a Domestic Goddess’ by Nigella Lawson which I would heartily recommend buying (if you haven’t already).
…obviously hers look much more appetising than ours!
I also entered the Easter cake decorating competition at Henrys’ nursery. I only actually remembered that I had entered at 8pm the night before it was due in and after several frantic hours in the kitchen managed to come up with this…
Joe (5 and brutally honest) said it was ‘scruffy’. But what does he know because I came 4th! I think there were … er… 5 entries.
