Freya and Fred

Okay, so it’s time to reveal the secret… I’ve written a book!

‘Freya and Fred- a week full of quilts for a girl and her dog’

What will Freya wear today?

Do you remember playing with the paper dolls and all their clothes when you were little?

Well, now you can play with them all over again whilst making applique quilts!

I’ve created a versatile and inspiring book full of appliqué templates for a girl called Freya

a full wardrobe of her clothes and  her dog, Fred.

Enjoy a busy week of parties, picnics, baking and playing with Freya and Fred.

Look inside the book to find a themed chapter for each day of the week with an appliqué quilt pattern

embroidery and sewing projects, all with full size templates.

Create my unique jointed appliqué templates to make Freya and Fred move and dance across your quilts.

‘Freya and Fred’ is available to buy now from my Etsy shop

or from me (and my Mum and sister) at the Festival of Quilts, stand G4.

I’m really pleased with my book- I hope you all like it too!

Your book looks wonderful and Freya’s face reminds me a little of Topsy & Tim (in a good way!). I loved playing with those dolls as a child – what a fantastic basis for a book.

I have made a couple of projects using your fab book! My Favourite and the one that I am most proud of is a quilt for my Mum’s 60th.

It would be great if there was a flickr group to go with your book – I would love to see other peoples Freya and Freds.
