Slippers
:: Friday night
Browsed Ravelry
and found a free pattern for these ‘Duffers’ felted slippers.
I thought they might be the perfect slipper for me. Decide a grey pair would be nice.
:: Saturday morning
in the yarn shop buying the felting wool, ignore all grey and choose bright green and variegated.
:: Saturday afternoon
knit, knit and knit some more.
:: Saturday evening
anxiously wait for the washing machine to finish. What an exciting life I lead.
:: Sunday morning
get up at the crack of dawn (thanks Betty!) and immediately put new slippers on. Ignore that they are still damp. Take copious photos of my feet and oldest pjamas.
:: rest of the day
make family admire my slippers. Am informed they don’t want a pair. Smile everytime I see my feet!
