Green dress
I made a green dress using a t shirt as a pattern.
I finished the edges with blue bias binding. It’s okay but I don’t love it,
it wrinkles like tripe and fits where it touches. I’ll be investing in a dress pattern!
The belt is old and from Noa Noa
and the cardigan is (of course) my all time favourite.
I’ve just had a fun weekend teaching at Hope and Elvis– thanks Louise and all the lovely ladies who came on one of my workshops.
You can see what we got up to at Robin Red Crafts
Heartshaped and on Hope and Elvis’ facebook page.
Talking of Facebook- Louise told me to create a business page, so I did.
Please go and visit me there as sadly, I haven’t got any friends at the moment…

Hello Janet
Thanks so much for a brilliant workshop, it was such a lovely day and I certainly felt a lot more confident about free machining at the end of the day, just as you said we would! Look forward to seeing you and your new book at the FOQ!
Best wishes

I think you might be being a bit harsh on yourself. This dress looks lovely. And it’s such a pretty fabric.

Hi Janet, Just wanted to say how much I loved your workshop and I am so proud of the piece that you helped me to create. Ive faffed with my machine and discovered that I can do it with my own machine – so watch this space! Many many thanks again, and it was wonderful to meet you – you are such a lovely lady. xxxxx

Very, very cute. The belt and trim are very delightful. I hope you have a lot of “good times” wearing it.

I had completely missed you were coming to Worksop. Are you making a return visit? I’d love to take one of your classes.
