McCall’s Quilting Magazine

quilting blogsExcuse me whilst I show off…

My little blog is in a quilting magazine!

Holly Holderman’s article is about the quilting blogs she loves to read and she has included mine!

So I would like to say a big thankyou to Holly.

I am very pleased and flattered to be included.

Amazed, pleased and flattered I should say.

It is Tuesday here and I normally have the morning to myself as Henry goes to nursery.

In fact, I have been waiting patiently for this very morning to do a bit of experimenting, as I’ve had an idea that I am desperate to try out.

I’m really quite inspired by it actually. So much so that it may stop all progress on my W.I.Ps.

You know there’s a but coming don’t you?

but, Joe has got a tummy bug and is home from school.

So instead of playing with my fabric and my sewing machine and being in a state of blissful flow

I shall be spending my time with my rubber gloves and my washing machine instead.

Typical.

Congratulaions! That is exciting, I hope you get lots of new fans from this. Sorry to hear about the sickness – cleaning up after all that is no fun, for sure.

That’s so cool! Sorry about your little guy. As my boy would say “he has a mad stomach.”

congratulations… and sorry to hear about your little one. Mine is ill again. High temperature, and I’m actually glad he’s sick… he’s been so horrible the last few days I’m happy to put it down to illness, and not to having a horrible child!! Hope you get to ‘experiment’ soon!!

Congratulations! But what a shame that you had to brought back to earth by a tummy bug.

That is exactly what would happen to me. If I had your talent.

    Which I don’t!
