English paper pieced patchwork is beautiful.
It’s very soothing to stitch too- all quiet, slow, repetitive movements giving incredibly accurate results. Flow is almost guaranteed.
Which is why you’ll find me teaching traditional English paper piecing over the summer at West Dean and Art in Action.

oh my goodness, Art in Action. I try t get to that festival each year but I am not sure I can this year… INSET day at school. Its such a beautiful festival.

that is so lovely..so is the spotty cup…might even have a go..
