One Year On
Yes, I have been blogging for a whole year. And I think it has been the most creative and inspiring year I have had since leaving art college.
So, I would like to say a genuine, heartfelt thankyou to all of you who comment, or lurk in my statistics.
Thankyou for writing your own amazing blogs. I am an avid reader and a poor commenter. But I am there enjoying myself.
You support, inspire and encourage me. I am truly grateful. Thankyou.

Congratulations on your blogoversary (is that how you spell it?)
Thank you for inspiring me for the last little while since I discovered you.
I have been reading blogs for about 4 years now, and they help me cope with the drudgery of being at home with small children. They help me feel connected. It is of course not all drugery, but each day can feel the same – Do the school/kindergarten run, Cook, Tidy up, Clean, Pour drinks, fold washing, Wipe bottoms etc.
From blogs like yours I get inspired for my own crafting (even though it is very different). The small amount of crafting that I get done, and now the recording of that process and day to day family trivia makes me feel more like I have an identity that is still a bit more than “Mummy” but also “proud Mummy” all at the same time.

I think it’s so nice your Dad comments on your blog- I know my mum sneaks a peak at mine from time to time but she never ever comments. Happy birthday to your blog- I totally missed mine, maybe when i’m 2 i’ll have a big party. Looking forward to the next year!

Well I stumbled accross your website and blog and was actually going to comment anyway. How inspiring your embroidery designs are. I love how some of them look like a quick gesture drawing. Your are so very talented. I guess you have a new fan, who is a complete stranger, in the US!
