Procrastination

I was supposed to spend today tackling my business paperwork. Yawn.

So naturally I have spent the day doing all the laundry, going to the gym, having coffee with a friend, tidying the lounge and taking photos of my hyacinth.

There’s always tomorrow…

Sounds like you achieved quite a lot Janet and as we know the jobs we put off are always there for tomorrow.
Beautiful Hyacinth, hope the sun is shining and there’s some blue sky to be seen

    All very worthy occupations nonetheless.
And of course it will still be there the next day. It’s funny how some things always wait for you, like ironing and cleaning out cupboards, but some don’t, like carefully stashed edible treats in this house!

I am a past master of “procrastination”. I tell myself that the moment isn’t right for the next step and if I do something else, inspiration will be upon me! It works.

I spent 2 hours filling three huge garden bags with leaves and pruned branches etc. this morning. Then when I proudly told my darling husband he replied: “oh… didn’t you find the other two?”

Shall I give him dinner or not?
