Another Teacosy

Embroidered teacosy

I made this teacosy on Monday night whilst watching ‘Miss Potter’ (which I enjoyed by the way). Obviously, embroidering an old piece of wool blanket whilst eating chocolate was not on my very long ‘to do’ list; but that was getting me down so I just ignored it and had fun instead!

My other teacosy only fits my one -person teapot, but this one is for my two-person pot (I actually have a four person pot too).

Tea, as you may have gathered, is taken pretty seriously round here!

Can you remember where you heard the phrase embroidered on it before?

Thanks for all the sweet comments about Henry. He had a brilliant day riding his new bike and playing with his favourite present- the water pistols Joe gave him (big brothers know exactly what their little brothers want!) He was completely giddy at his birthday party and was asleep before his head touched the pillow! Perfect.

I am too lazy to make tea in the pot – just giant mugs. But perhaps having a wonderful cosy like yours would inspire me.

Hi Janet, I like your tea-cosy. I never knew the words to that song – but I like it. I remember it being on a car ad in the UK for a while.

We have lots of teapots at home – Kevin being English, and me feeling more English than New Zealander to be honest.

Thank you for popping into my blog the other day 🙂

Hello dear. That’s a very sweet cozy/cosy (US/UK, same difference). It makes me think that perhaps my press pot needs a sweater to keep the coffee toasty, no? Thanks for stopping by and commenting, I think you and your blog/quilts/children are darling : ) I’ll be coming back. Cheers!
