Valentine’s

Tony and I met on a blind date on Valentine’s day many, many years ago (24 actually!)

So we always celebrate and give each other a little gift.

This year I have combined the need to make Tony a gift with the need to design another exclusive pattern for my email club.

I know, I know…

I am such a romantic!

So, here it is:

My secret message monogrammed embroidered cushion (catchy name).

I have chosen a very safe message because I know what you’re like-

you won’t rest ’til you’ve broken the code will you!

* If you’d like the pattern, just email me janet@janetclare.co.uk and I’ll add you to my free email club and send you a PDF.

The bolster cushions are covered in Amy Butler’s Midwest Modern Optic Blossom and the wallpaper is by Laura Ashley.

nooooo … too hard Janet. I can’t do sums let alone clever maths! Will leave it for CK’s scientist eyes tonight.

    But it is very pretty.

When you say 2, 5, 19, 20, do you mean Tony has competition?! Love the idea of a secret code, though

Lovely cushion. As long as Tony understands the code I suppose that’s enough 🙂 You know I’m going to have to work it out don’t you.

I don’t “do” codes but the idea is lovely. I am sure it is something sweet that will carry both of you into old age. Congratulations!!!

Love the idea. And also that it’s not pink and frilly as most Valentine’s gifts seem to be. I mean, who’d give something that resembles a tutu to a guy (other than maybe to my coiffeur, because he has the firm intention to go to the next party as Mariah (Carrey, as always), and because it’s a theme party, Mariah is going in a tutu.)?
