One down, too many to go…
After much, much thought I have decided to make as many Christmas presents as possible this year (unlike last year).
This is despite the fact that most of my family don’t ‘get’ the whole homemade thing.
But, I do and I want my boys to, too.
This is all very worthy, but it has left me with a rather enormous list of presents to make! So, I thought I’d start with the young, trendy D.J-ing brother in law.
And here’s what I came up with: a fruit bowl.
Made from an LP of bagpipe music which I felt sure the world could manage without.
The LP cost 50p and I used the heat from the oven after cooking the boys’ fishfingers to melt it.
Making it easy to make, cheap, green, recycled and homemade.
And that awesome website is going to take up quite a bit of your time- sorry!

If it is any comfort to you: I’m struggling to do the same thing. Handmade for everyone. The problem is that I think of another someone I like every day and the list has become absurdly long. I guess I’ll just do as much as I can and buy the last minutes gift on December 23rd. As always.
