Border 3a
I seem to be having a ‘finally getting round to it’ week.
Because yesterday, I finally managed to get border 3a onto my medallion quilt.
Making me only 6 borders behind?
And of course, those borders will just keep getting bigger and bigger.
But who’s really counting? I will finish it (in my own sweet time).
It is almost square
and the edges almost meet up.
making it quite good enough in my book.
But, look carefully at the close up photo and you may seem a few flaws…
I’m not pointing them out for you,
but if you’re a quilter you’ll see them.
I am pleased with the colours and the prints though.
I wanted this border to go almost un- noticed after the last two strong repetitive ones,
so as to rest the eye before the next strong border- the zig zag flying geese.
Next week I will have to stop ‘finally getting round to things’ and start knuckling down to some fast approaching deadlines.
February sounded so far away when I agreed to them…
