Sewing Table
I chose a glass table and put it right in the middle of the room, under the skylights.
So I can walk right round three sides of it, which is wonderful for cutting fabric.
I sit with the green cupboard behind me,
facing my design wall
on an embroidered cushion
on a turquoise plastic swivel chair.
And it makes me very happy.
edited to add; I got my spool holder here. But, the link is for one that holds large cones of thread, not ordinary reels likeĀ I have.

Same question!Where’s the spool holder from?!
I chose a glass topped table too.Which would be great if I didn’t have to share it with my greasy fingered kids!

How wonderful and serene it looks. There is zero serenity in my hole of an office. Lots of dust though!

This is my first chance to catch up since my modem died. Congratulations on a dedicated sewing space. I took me years to have one and I still pinch myself on how good it feels. You will love and enjoy the freedom of it.
Good for you.

Oh the beauty, the serene calm and that is just from looking at the pictures of your sewing room! Am entirely reasonably jealous of your garage to sewing room converting capabilities!!!
