Back to Normal

dressYes, we are slowly easing ourselves back into our normal routines here.

The Christmas holidays were lovely.

But we were all so spoilt with company, presents, food, late nights and lie-ins that it is hard going back to normal.

And it is so gloomy and damp here in January.

I had to tidy every scrap of my craft away for the holidays (because I use the dining room) and I have truly missed it.

I have missed feeling inspired and being able to see where my evening went.

Sewing appears to be a therapy of sorts for me. I am less without it.

But, enough whingeing…. today I am back!

I have reclaimed my space (i.e: wrecked the dining room again!) and am anxiously awaiting Henrys’ return to nursery tomorrow morning, so I can play with my sewing machine again!

I have made grand plans for 2008. Watch out world!

oooh! The dress is looking very pretty. I use our livingroom as craftroom. I couldn’t wait to put away all the Christmas stuff and get it back to my normal crafty mess.

Janet, that dress is beautiful, i am looking forward to seeing you in it, maybe at the Thatch?
Mabel was going to phone you to ask advise on a ‘Maria apron’ (sound of music) I thought 6.30 a.m was a bit early to call!!!

    Nice dress, Janet.
As you know, I use our dining room as a store room and computer room. Your Mother still cannot get used to eating surrounded by my latest project!
