Whale of a Time
The boys had their favourite kind of day yesterday. We met some very good friends at Wendover Woods and the children climbed trees, built dens and were pulled down dangerous tracks in a ‘Radio Flyer’ by their fathers! Henry (it is always Henry) fell out and hit his head on a ROCK, cried a bit and got back in! He’s now got a bruised lump on his forehead but wants a ‘Radio Flyer’ for his birthday!
I thought I would show you an example of my ‘real’ work which I will be selling through my website.
I love making these little applique pictures- they don’t all have corny titles like this one, but what else could I call it? I was originally inspired by Janet Boltons‘ wonderful folk art.

I want a Radio Flyer for my birthday too!
And I saw your applique before I read the text and thought to myself – that’s SO Janet Bolton (a very good thing in my book).
